Huawei puts 8,800mAh battery and 120Hz OLED into Enjoy 100 Pro Max in China
Huawei has launched the Enjoy 100 Pro Max in China, a mid-range phone with an 8,800mAh battery and a 120Hz OLED display. The report comes from Notebookcheck alone.
Battery and charging
The most prominent feature of the Enjoy 100 Pro Max is its 8,800mAh battery, which accepts 40W fast charging. Under its laboratory test conditions, Huawei states that the handset can manage as much as 29 hours of online playback of long-form video.
Display and processor options
The OLED panel measures 6.84 inches and offers 2,756 x 1,272 pixels. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,160Hz PWM dimming, and Huawei gives a peak brightness of 8,000 nits at 1% APL.
The phone runs HarmonyOS 7. Which chipset it carries depends on storage: the 128GB and 256GB versions use the Kirin 8020A, while the 512GB version uses the Kirin 8020. Every configuration comes with 8GB of RAM.
Camera hardware and connectivity
On the back sits a 50MP camera with an f/1.8 aperture and no ultrawide or telephoto companion. The front camera is an 8MP unit at f/2.0. Stereo speakers and a fingerprint reader mounted on the side complete the hardware, while wireless support covers NFC, Bluetooth 6.0, Wi-Fi 7 and BeiDou satellite messaging.
Place within the Enjoy 100 range
The Pro Max joins the standard Enjoy 100 and the Enjoy 100 Pro in the series. Because only Notebookcheck has reported the launch, the specifications rest on that single source.
