Sources & Methodology
Information sources
WORLDTECH uses publicly accessible sources approved for the relevant access: official company and project announcements, research institutions, security and research sources, official technology and project feeds, and other approved information sources. Access and reuse permissions differ between sources. A citation identifies the information basis; the source is not necessarily the author or publisher of WORLDTECH’s summary, context or presentation. WORLDTECH does not claim ownership of source material.
One event, one story
The principle is that one event exists once. Multiple sources, updates and language versions may belong to that event. Duplicate reports may therefore be clustered into one WORLDTECH story; another report does not automatically mean another event.
Verification and public states
Source authority, independent-source support, confidence, relevance and lifecycle/publication safeguards are evaluated separately. Relevance alone does not confirm a claim. Approved official primary sources may provide direct evidence; multiple sources are not always required. Where applicable: Confirmed means sufficiently supported information; Developing describes an ongoing event; Unconfirmed / Claim identifies information not yet confirmed; Disputed indicates conflicting evidence; Updated indicates new information; Corrected marks a factual correction. These labels do not bypass publication restrictions or make private or held content public.
Automation
Deterministic systems perform major parts of ingestion, filtering, clustering and publication safeguards. Automated systems support source processing, event classification and clustering, and structuring stored facts. The current default workflow makes no AI calls. AI-assisted source analysis, summarization, contextualization or translation may be used only where configured; no AI translation service is currently integrated. Page views never trigger AI or translation. Sources are retained and referenced where available. Deterministic verification and publication rules remain in force; automation does not override these safeguards. Stories may be updated or corrected. Reporting volume alone does not establish independent confirmation.
Rights and presentation
Access to a source does not automatically permit republication of its text or images. Source access, content use and media reuse rights are handled separately. WORLDTECH may use its own or fallback visuals where required. Such visuals are not additional evidence for an event.
Updates, corrections and original sources
New reliable information may lead to updates. Corrections and changed verification states should be reflected transparently where applicable rather than silently changing the factual record. Story pages reference underlying sources where technically available and applicable so readers can inspect the original material. Send correction concerns to office@worldtech.news.
