The chipmaker reported fiscal Q3 2026 revenue of $13.38 billion after the market closed on November 3, 2026. AMD's record growth highlights the critical role of data centers (a building full of computers that runs online services) in driving tech innovation and investor expectations amid the AI boom. AMD is an electrical and semiconductor company based in Sunnyvale, and its products and services include graphics processing units.

The engine was the data center business, where sales climbed 97% from a year earlier.

That outlook may be the number investors chew on longest. The numbers behind the record Total revenue, which AMD’s own summary rounds to $13.4 billion, rose 45% from the $9.25 billion it booked in Q3 2025.

The result also cleared AMD’s previous guidance, which had called for revenue between $12.7 billion and $13.3 billion. The Data Center segment brought in $8.5 billion, up 97% year over year.

That single unit accounted for well over half of the company’s total sales in the quarter.
