According to MacRumors, Apple has issued first betas for its watch, television and headset operating systems, launching a fresh round of pre-release builds across several platforms at once.

Watch, TV and headset builds arrive together

The first builds for watchOS 27.3, tvOS 27.3 and visionOS 27.3 landed alongside new betas of iOS 27.3, iPadOS 27.3 and macOS Golden Gate 27.3, MacRumors reports. The timing places them a week after Apple shipped the 27.2 software updates.

Registered developers can obtain the test versions through the Settings app on their respective devices.

Scope of the tvOS and visionOS builds unclear

The report gives no indication of what visionOS 27.3 or tvOS 27.3 will contain, so the reach of those two releases remains open.

Apple Intelligence features may come to the watch

Two new Apple Intelligence features are due for the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 in late 2026, and watchOS 27.3 could be the update that brings them. Live Rewind would let users double-press the Digital Crown to obtain a transcription of the previous 15 seconds of speech. Siri Recap would turn conversations held during the day into high-level notes.
