Lenovo has added a budget monitor, the L32-4e, to its display range. According to Notebookcheck, the 32-inch model pairs a 144 Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync support with a sparse set of ports.

Display specifications of the L32-4e

The monitor outputs at 1080p in a 16:9 aspect ratio. It peaks at 300 nits with a 4,000:1 contrast ratio, covers 99% of the sRGB colour space and uses an 8-bit colour depth, achieved as 6-bit plus FRC.

Lenovo's Product Specifications Reference (PSREF) website confirms that the panel is a VA type with a WLED backlight. When Extreme Mode is activated, the monitor is listed with 4 ms GtG response times alongside its 144 Hz refresh rate and FreeSync support.

Limited connectivity and stand

The L32-4e carries relatively few ports. Lenovo fits HDMI 1.4 and VGA connections, and the company has not included a 3.5 mm audio jack, DisplayPort or a USB hub.

The stand allows a tilt range of -5° to +22°.

Launch status

The L32-4e first appeared on Lenovo's PSREF website before an official release. Notebookcheck reports that the monitor is available on Amazon for $108. Lenovo is based in Beijing, and AMD, whose FreeSync technology the display supports, is based in Sunnyvale.
