Apple names new and expanded US suppliers for iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Duo

Apple has announced new and expanded partnerships under its American Manufacturing Program covering materials and components for the iPhone Duo and iPhone 18 Pro. The company says nearly 100 components across the two phones come from American companies based in more than a dozen states.
Named suppliers and what they make
Apple has named two of its US supply chain partners. Qnity, which joined the program in March, will produce advanced films for the variable aperture camera system on the iPhone 18 Pro. Perryman Company, a Pennsylvania-based titanium producer, supplies the grade 5 titanium for the iPhone Duo's enclosure, and Apple says it is committing up to $100 million over three years to help that work.
Apple also highlighted five further US suppliers. Broadcom is expanding and modernising its Fort Collins, Colorado, facility under a $1.5 billion capital investment announced in July, where it produces radio frequency components for a range of Apple products. Corning makes specialty glass, including Ceramic Shield, in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. Coherent supplies vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser technology from Sherman, Texas, which enables Face ID and other features.
Chip production in Arizona
Apple says TSMC's Arizona fab is scaling production of advanced chips for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, and produced more than 100 million chips for Apple in 2026. Construction on the north campus is progressing as the partnership with TSMC in Arizona grows.
The announcement came from Apple itself; the figures on component counts and investment are the company's own statements, as reported by independent outlets.
