Citizen has unveiled the Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse Timeless Treasure Set, a trio of Disney-themed watches that Notebookcheck reports will be made in no more than 300 sets worldwide.

Three watches carrying Disney artwork

The set, filed under model number HVC-LADIES and priced at $1,295, pairs three timepieces that feature artwork by the Disney artists John and Shelley Loter. Every watch relies on Citizen's own Eco-Drive technology, which converts light from natural and artificial sources into energy, so the wearer is spared regular battery changes.

The first model, Mickey Mouse Flutterby, carries a mother-of-pearl dial scattered with colourful butterflies and crystal hour markers. Mickey and Minnie in Tandem places the couple on a tandem bicycle heading for a picnic, while Minnie Mouse About Town shows Minnie aboard a pink scooter.

Collector extras in the package

Citizen has included several items aimed at collectors. The watches arrive in a navy-blue presentation box with a gold Mickey Mouse pattern, together with matching collectible pins and a letter of authenticity.
