GSMArena reports that Samsung may bring its Galaxy S27 series forward after the Galaxy S26 arrived later than the two generations before it. The report leaves open whether an earlier schedule will actually hold.

Galaxy S26 arrived behind its predecessors

The S26 series was only made official in late February, and it reached shops in early March. Its predecessors moved faster, with the S24 unveiled in mid-January and launched in late January, and the S25 announced in late January and launched in early February.

The delay is likely to have come from a last-minute change in which the S26 Edge was replaced by the S26+.

Samsung is based in Suwon

Samsung is an electronics company headquartered in Suwon and founded in 1969. The report on a possible earlier S27 launch comes from GSMArena alone, so the timing remains a single outlet's account.
