According to a report by The Defiant, Consensys has alerted Ethereum node operators to an exposure tied to how the eMudhra signing setup is configured.

Which deployments face exposure

Consensys teams have pinpointed vulnerable Java trust stores as the origin of the problem. Whether an individual operator is at risk turns on the configuration in place rather than on the software alone.

Standard setups fall outside the exposure. Certain Web3Signer deployments, by contrast, require immediate adjustments to their access controls, the report says.
