What happened

It opened the door to anyone with a bot, and it promised to put most of the money that comes through that door back into its own token. What the API (the interface one piece of software uses to talk to another) does The API went live on November 1, 2026.

The project also committed 80% of revenue from the $OBOL token and the wider protocol to buybacks and burns. So the project made two moves at once.

It is built so external applications, trading bots, and automated agents can plug directly into Obol World’s launchpad. The project’s pitch is deployment from anywhere.

Developers get free API keys, and transactions use self-custodial wallet signing. Self-custodial signing means users approve transactions with their own wallets, and Obol World does not hold their keys.

The API handles the plumbing, while the user keeps control of the funds.
