New fanless mini PC unveiled with up to 64 GB RAM and Intel Wildcat Lake CPUs (the general-purpose processor at the centre of a computer) ⓘ Biostar BioStar is a well-known player in the realm of mini PCs aimed at industrial and enterprise users. Sambit Saha , Published 11/01/2026 Mini PC Launch Biostar has introduced a new fanless mini PC aimed primarily at industrial workloads. Intel is a semiconductor and electrical company based in Santa Clara.
Unsurprisingly, the understandably chunky passive cooling solution adds quite a bit of weight to the system.
The company's latest offering, the MS-U320, happens to be based on Intel's Wildcat Lake platform, packing up to 64 GB of RAM and a healthy array of ports in a fanless enclosure. Dubbed the EdgeComp MS-U320 , the compact mini PC is powered by Intel's Wildcat Lake chips.
To be more specific, the mini PC sports the Intel Core 5 320 CPU, featuring two performance cores and four efficiency cores for a total of six cores and six threads. Clearly, the chip should be good enough for most casual workloads, although heavy CPU-intensive tasks might not be perfectly doable.
An even lower-end variant with a Core 3 304 5-core CPU is also available. For most enterprise workloads, such as industrial automation, digital signage, edge gateway, POS, and self-service kiosks, the amount of compute on offer should be sufficient.
Needless to say, the lack of moving parts makes the compact mini PC easy to deploy in harsh and dusty environments without having to worry about debris ingress. ⓘ Biostar ⓘ Biostar The mini PC sports a single DDR5-6400 SODIMM slot, which can accommodate up to a maximum 64 GB of RAM in single-channel mode.
