Samsung has named the Galaxy phones and tablets that will receive its Android 17-based One UI 9 update, according to a report by Gizmochina. The list gives owners of older flagships and mid-range models a clearer sense of what to expect.

Japanese timeline for the confirmed roster

The roster comes from Samsung Japan, which says the update will arrive on devices in that country during October and November 2026.

The timeline applies to Japan, but the device list itself is expected to hold for most regions.

Expected rollout beyond Japan

Budget devices and units sold outside Japan are expected to be updated between December 2026 and January 2027.

One UI 9 first debuted on the Galaxy S26 series in September and has since reached several older flagships.

Models absent from the first list

Plus variants of the Galaxy S25 and S24 are not on the list, nor are many Galaxy A phones and regional models. More names are likely to appear as the rollout continues.
