Honor has put two new Honor Life power banks on sale in China, with capacities of 10,000mAh and 20,000mAh. Both are sold through JD.com, according to a report by Gizmochina.

Prices and where to buy

The 10,000mAh model is priced at 148 yuan, about $21, while the 20,000mAh version costs 198 yuan, about $28. Both are available through JD.com.

The two models differ mainly in capacity and size. The 20,000mAh unit doubles the capacity but uses a larger body.

Design, display and charging features

Both power banks wear a red finish with black stripes and Honor Life branding. A digital panel on the front shows the remaining charge as a percentage, and Honor's promotional images place a charging icon beside the reading.

The cable allows bidirectional fast charging, so it can power connected devices and also be used to top up the power bank. Honor says both models can charge several devices at the same time. An NTC smart temperature control chip monitors heat while charging.

Certification and a related launch

Honor says both models hold 3C certification, which it considers suitable for air travel.

Separately, Baseus has launched a power bank in China months after its release in the US, Europe and the UK. The Chinese version comes in brighter colours and differs from the international model in one key respect.
