Xgimi has launched the Elfin Flip Pro (New), a Full HD Google TV projector, in Japan. According to Notebookcheck, the update lifts brightness from 400 to 1,000 ISO lumens while keeping the flip-up design of the 2024 model.

Brighter three-colour laser source

The new model uses an upgraded RGB three-colour laser light source that raises output to 1,000 ISO lumens, up from 400 in the original. Nichia RGB lasers provide a dynamic contrast ratio of 10,000 to 1 and 110% coverage of the BT.2020 colour space.

Slim body that opens to 150 degrees

The Elfin Flip Pro (New) weighs 1.33 kg and measures 254 x 245 x 75 mm, which lets it sit on a bookshelf. When flipped open up to 150 degrees, it projects a picture between 40 and 120 inches at distances from 1.06 m to 3.2 m. The flip-up form is the same one that won the Visual Grand Prix (VGP) 2025 Video and Sound Division Gold Award.

Google TV apps and connections

Users reach Google TV apps and services, including Netflix and YouTube, with a backlit remote control. Audio is output through dual 3-watt Dolby Audio speakers. Smartphone content can be mirrored via Google Cast, laptop content through HDMI, and media files played from a USB drive.
