Apple is a software and consumer electronics company based in Cupertino.

’Tenzing’ now available to stream on Apple TV A few days ago, Apple Original Films held a limited theatrical premiere of “ Tenzing ,” its latest adventure film starring Genden Phuntsok, Tom Hiddleston ( The Life of Chuck ), and Willem Dafoe ( At Eternity’s Gate ). Interestingly, “ Tenzing ” is the second mountain-climbing release set against an icy backdrop to debut in recent days, following the October 2 premiere of the documentary “ The Last First: Winter K2 .”

And although “ Tenzing ” is not a documentary, it is based on a true story. Encouraged by his wife Dawa (Thinley Lhamo), Tenzing finds an ally in expedition secretary Jill Henderson (Caitríona Balfe). Where Western climbers see “Everest” as something to be conquered, Tenzing reveres “Chomolungma” as the sacred mother goddess.
