Microsoft's PowerToys utility has received version 0.102, which adds two headline features for Windows 11 users: CursorHide and Mouse Button Lock. According to TechPowerUp, the update is aimed at everyday users as well as people who need accessibility accommodations.

CursorHide hides the pointer while typing

CursorHide is a configurable tool that hides the mouse cursor automatically. Users can choose to have it disappear while they type, after a set period without movement, or under both conditions.

Mouse Button Lock holds clicks in place

Mouse Button Lock is a customizable feature that works in a way similar to an accessibility tool. Once a mouse button has been held down for a chosen length of time, it locks in the clicked position. The feature can be applied to the left, right and middle buttons, and users can adjust the hold duration. A movement threshold can also be set, which helps reduce accidental activations.
