According to a report by Crypto Briefing, SpaceX posted third-quarter 2026 revenue of roughly $14.58 billion, a 161% jump on the same period a year earlier. AI operations now make up more than half of that total, placing them ahead of Starlink, the satellite internet service that has long been the company's main earner.

AI segment drives the quarter

The Super Intelligence segment, which groups SpaceX's AI operations including compute services, Grok and Cursor, was the strongest performer. Its revenue reached $7.56 billion in the quarter, rising 830% on a year earlier and accounting for more than half of the company's total.

Starlink brought in $5.25 billion, an increase of 69% over the prior year. The report presents the quarter as evidence that the company's income is increasingly originating outside satellites and launches.

Anthropic contract anchors growth

A multi-year compute agreement with Anthropic, with an annualized value of about $15 billion, supports much of the segment's expansion. Further deals with hyperscalers add to that base, which the report says gives the revenue a measure of predictability.

AI capital spending ranged from $15.83 billion to $16.44 billion across the second and third quarters, supporting nameplate compute capacity of 1.7 GW.

Balance sheet and comparison with 2025

At September 30, 2026, SpaceX held roughly $89.9 billion in cash and marketable securities, set against $38.8 billion in debt and finance leases, so its cash stands at more than twice its obligations.

SpaceX reported revenue of $18.7 billion for the whole of 2025, which puts the scale of the 2026 quarter in perspective.
