What happened

Tether said it froze more than $1.5 billion in stolen USDT (Tether’s dollar-pegged token) within 30 minutes of the Binance hack, blocking access to those funds. The announcement followed the FBI’s attribution of the attack to North Korea. Tether Describes $1.5 Billion Binance Hack Freeze Tether said on. Binance is a cryptocurrency exchange and finance company based in United Arab Emirates, founded in 2017.
