What happened

The war for the soul of the solar system is nigh as Stardock today announced that Ashes of the Singularity II will release November 10, 2026, on Steam. The sequel to the massive-scale real-time strategy game puts players in the middle of a war over humanity's future, fighting against enemies that have already surpassed it.

Set in the near future, Ashes of the Singularity II puts humanity in a fight for its own survival. The Post-Human Coalition, a faction of humans who have abandoned their physical bodies, has become the most technologically advanced power in the solar system.

At the same time, a rogue artificial intelligence has built the AI Substrate, a machine civilization determined to secure its own future at any cost. Caught between them, humanity is losing ground.
