Barcelona’s Artiso raises over €3 million to scale its AI operating system for fashion teams
What happened
Artiso, a Barcelona-based FashionTech startup building an AI operating system built for fashion teams, has raised more than €3 million in a fully equity pre-Seed round.
Swanlaab Venture Factory and Bynd Venture Capital joined the round, alongside business angels David Tomás, co-founder of Cyberclick, and Nicolaj Reffstrup, founder and former CEO of GANNI, who invests through Look Up Ventures.
Criteria Venture Tech led the round and has supported the company since it emerged from stealth. Artiso was founded in Barcelona in 2025 by Iglesias Hiller, Lucas Pastur Romay (CPO) and Matthias Brenninkmeijer (CTO), former Mango executives who have worked together since 2022.
The company emerged from stealth in July 2025 and claims to be building an AI operating system for fashion that connects inspiration, design, product development, and pre-production, including tech packs, styling, and campaign imagery, on top of each brand’s own memory. According to the Spanish startup, fashion is one of the industries where AI can make the maximum impact, as the sector designs so many products and undergoes constant change season after season.
Artiso claims to bring that work and that knowledge together, using agentic (AI that carries out multi-step tasks rather than answering one question) AI to transform the process from the first idea to the final campaign.
