Lenovo launches new portable Wi-Fi 6 hotspot with 12h battery life & support for 10 devices

What happened

Lenovo has launched a new affordable portable Wi-Fi hotspot in China. The device, called the Lenovo Portable Wi-Fi 6+ (model L016), is now listed on JD.com for just 59 yuan ($9). Lenovo is an electronics and computer hardware company based in Beijing.

It measures 105.1 x 70.1 x 14.1mm and weighs 90 grams. Lenovo offers the device in standard black and white finishes.

The plastic casing contains a lanyard hole for attaching it to a bag or wrist, alongside a USB-C (24-pin reversible connector that supersedes all previous USB connectors) port on the side for power. Internally, the hotspot operates with an ASR communication chipset and supports Wi-Fi 6 connectivity.
