Google teases the Fitbit Edge, and it looks like it’s nearly here

What happened

Leaks have since revealed an upcoming model with a small screen, dubbed the Fitbit Edge. TL;DR Google’s slowly starting to overhaul the Fitbit tracker lineup, starting with the screenless Fitbit Air earlier this year. Google is an Internet and software company based in Mountain View.

Now Google is officially sharing some early Edge imagery, while teasing news for this coming Monday. Wearables aren’t one-size-fits-all, as has become increasingly clear with the proliferation of screenless trackers, including this year’s Fitbit Air . With all that info, it felt like a launch was quickly becoming an inevitability.
