What happened

The OS had a successful run, but Microsoft launched Windows 11, and the old one had to eventually retire. Old PCs gain another year of security updates as memory costs climb and the Windows 11 path stays narrow. Windows 10's retirement wasn't surprising, but it surely affected many customers, millions, if you are wondering.
