What happened
Donald Trump’s administration has temporarily banned Microsoft, Adobe, and several other tech companies from sponsoring workers for permanent US residency, claiming they abused immigration programs at the expense of American citizens. The US says Microsoft abused immigration rules; the company disputes the claim. Microsoft is a software and software development company based in Redmond, founded in 1975.
