Stadiums can become ‘technology platforms’, where ticketing, retail, hospitality, matchday operations and partner technologies connect through a shared foundation of connectivity, data and security. This approach means that every new idea is quicker and more cost effective to try, because you aren’t building from scratch each time, improving efficiency and, ultimately, a better fan experience through greater innovation.
From individual technologies to a connected stadium Technology is nothing new for venues. Each worked effectively as a venue in its own right, but their systems and data were not connected.
