Frore Systems’ LiquidJet Diamond targets extreme GPU heat
What happened
Frore Systems has introduced LiquidJet Diamond, a liquid-cooling coldplate designed to handle the increasingly concentrated heat generated by AI accelerators. The company claims its new design can reduce GPU (a chip built for many calculations at once, used for graphics and AI) temperatures by up to 22 °C compared with conventional coldplates and handle hotspots reaching 770 W/cm2.

The technology is aimed at high-power processors including Nvidia’s Rubin family and AMD’s Instinct accelerators. Frore claims the improved cooling could increase AI token generation per watt by 30% to 35%, although these performance estimates have not been independently verified.
