Back to News Payments October 7, 2026 by Solana Foundation Samsung Partners with Solana to Natively Deliver Stablecoins in Samsung Wallet to 82 Million U.S. Users will be able to send a remittance from the same interface they already use for cards, boarding passes and IDs, with integrated fiat on- and off-ramps converting to and from local currency. Samsung is an electronics company based in Suwon.

Galaxy Devices Cross-border money transfers using stablecoins (a digital token meant to hold a fixed value, usually one dollar) on Solana, built into the Samsung Wallet experience Galaxy users already know. Samsung Wallet users in the United States will be able to send money across borders using USDC (Circle’s dollar-pegged token) beginning the last week of October 2026.

Galaxy devices The feature is built into Samsung Wallet rather than alongside it. Solana's infrastructure operates behind the scenes, so users can transfer money seamlessly within the Samsung Wallet experience they already know.

At launch, the feature will be available across 82 million U.S. Galaxy devices, with additional markets to follow, subject to local regulatory requirements.
