China’s tote-moving wheeled humanoid, 110-pound robot arm target factory automation
What happened
Chinese robotics firm JAKA has unveiled two new industrial robots at the 26th China International Industry Fair (CIIF 2026) in Shanghai. The launches include the Kargo50, a heavy-duty wheeled humanoid (a robot built in roughly human shape) designed for material handling, and the Zu50, a collaborative robot arm with a 110-pound (50-kilogram) payload capacity.
In June, JAKA unveiled Pi, a compact humanoid robot that stands 1.22 meters tall and weighs 92 pounds (42 kilograms). Targets factory automation JAKA has expanded its portfolio with a heavy-duty wheeled humanoid and a high-payload collaborative robot arm.
The Kargo50 is designed to move totes and materials between workstations, while the Zu50 extends the company’s collaborative robot range. The new models expand JAKA’s industrial robotics portfolio, targeting applications in factory automation, material movement, and manufacturing operations.
