Granite raises €4M to bring its agentic cloud infrastructure to market

What happened

AI infrastructure company Granite has secured €4 million in funding in a round led by Bifrost Studios , alongside private investors, to commercialise its technology and bring its software and hardware together for customers. Granite delivers its infrastructure through modular datacentres, consisting of containerised units that house compute, storage and networking and can be deployed where power is available.

The company is building what it calls an “agentic (AI that carries out multi-step tasks rather than answering one question) cloud”, infrastructure designed specifically for AI agents rather than adapted for them. Its platform combines compute, storage and networking with Granite’s own operating and AI orchestration software. The platform also contains a layer for managing AI agents, providing them with memory, permissions and tools.
