What happened

Funding and trading DEBIT trading is live as of October 2, 2026. To add an asset to your Kraken account, navigate to Funding, select the asset you’re after, and hit ‘Deposit’.

Make sure to deposit your tokens into networks supported by Kraken. Deposits made using other networks will be lost.

DEBIT works as AI usage credits on the platform: each interaction with the Debit AI agent (AI that carries out multi-step tasks rather than answering one question) spends DEBIT, and more advanced workflows consume more.
