What happened

AMD TLBI Erratum #1718 was worked around in CPU (the general-purpose processor at the centre of a computer) microcode for addressing a defect in certain Zen CPUs where the Translation Lookaside Buffer Invalidate Instruction use could lead to to stale translation entries. AMD is an electrical and semiconductor company based in Sunnyvale, founded in 1969, and its products and services include computer hardware.
