What happened
Cloudflare released Clef-omni, an Apache-2.0 multimodal (able to work with more than one kind of input, such as text and images) decision model built on Qwen3-Omni-30B-A3B. Cloudflare has released Clef-omni , a new open-weight (a model whose trained parameters anyone may download) (published so anyone may download the trained model) member of its Clef decision model family. Cloudflare is an information and communications technology company based in San Francisco.
It arrived on October 9, 2026, 8 days after the original Clef and Clef-flash launch . It scores text, images, audio and video in one call for $0.15 per million input tokens, while Clef-flash drops to $0.038.
Clef-omni is a Cloudflare decision model that scores text, images, audio and video in 1 call. The same update cut Clef-flash pricing below TypeSafe’s Jev and made hosted Clef roughly 2x faster.
