Sipeed Opens Funding for the Third-Generation, Up-to-1.4GS/s Logic Analyzer: The SLogic32U3
What happened
New model is a big upgrade for the SLogic family, and contains optional support for analog to digital conversion. Shenzhen-based embedded and hobbyist electronics specialist Sipeed has opened crowdfunding for what it claims is "the logic analyzer you [always] wished existed:" the SLogic32U3 800MB/s-sustained USB 3.2 up-to-1.4 gigasamples per second (GS/s) logic analyzer.
"SLogic32U3 is the third generation of the SLogic series, following SLogicCombo8 and SLogic16U3," the company says of the new debugging device. The compact SLogic32U3 connects to a host PC across a USB 3.2 Gen.
The sample rate differs depending on how many channels you're using at any given time: up to four channels provides the maximum 1.4GS/s sampling rate, while eight channels drops this to 800MS/s, 16 channels to 400MS/s, and the full 32 channels to 200M/s. These are all a big gain over the earlier SLogic16U3, which maxed out at 16 channels at 200MS/s, 400MS/s across eight channels, and only hit 800MS/s for four-channel use.
