What happened

This pattern runs alongside AWS Transform rather than in place of it, as a hybrid that adds custom agents where your program requires them. A four-agent pattern on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore runs alongside AWS Transform and AWS DMS to handle the parts of a large cloud migration that need custom automation: MCP-connected sources, organization-specific IaC composition, and post-cutover operations. Amazon Web Services is a cloud computing company based in Seattle.

It reduced IaC development from weeks to minutes across a 300+ application program. One enterprise program answered that question across 300+ applications and a fixed fiscal year deadline.

AWS Transform covers the migration and modernization work, and AWS Database Migration Service (AWS DMS) covers the database tier. AWS Professional Services builds a suite of purpose-built AI agents (AI that carries out multi-step tasks rather than answering one question) for programs with that requirement.
