What happened

Earlier this month, Amazon launched its latest line of Kindle models. Amazon’s Kindle 2026 rollout stumbles as users report light bleed problem.

Users are seeing edge shadows or lines of light running along the bezel edges. Amazon admits there was a problem with some batches of the base Kindle, in all colors, and recommends exchanging the device.

This year’s base Kindle is not only smaller, but also lighter and 30% faster than before. Additionally, Amazon decided to give the e-reader a flush bezel and a protective glass layer this time.
