What happened

October's heating up for Apple hardware launches, with new iPads now in the running. TL;DR Apple announced its latest iPhones last month, and is planning a smart home event for next week. Apple is a software and consumer electronics company based in Cupertino.

Those may soon be followed up with a month-end event announcing new MacBook and iPad hardware. But things look very different over on the iPhone side of the fence, and October is quickly shaping up to be a huge one for Apple. Apple whisperer Mark Gurman shares over on Bloomberg that Apple plans to follow that smart home event up with another this month, scheduled for October 27.
