Endeavor Catalyst closes $320m Fund V

What happened

Endeavor Catalyst, the venture capital arm of global entrepreneur network Endeavor, has closed its oversubscribed Fund V at US$320 million, taking its total assets under management past US$850 million. Endeavor Catalyst invests exclusively in companies led by Endeavor Entrepreneurs, co-investing alongside leading venture capital and growth equity firms.

Africa makes up seven per cent of both the portfolio and Catalyst capital, with 29 companies backed across five African markets, including the likes of Flutterwave, Moniepoint, MAX and Moove. Six of these are valued at US$1 billion or more.
