What happened
Wolverine PS5 exclusive ported to PC in buggy solo project using AI, according to Tom's Hardware. Solo developer gets Wolverine "working" on PC thanks to the 2023 source code leak. Thanks to a Rhysida ransomware (software that locks up files and demands payment) attack in December 2023 aimed at Sony and Insomniac, the 1.7 TB of data stolen contained an early version of Wolverine .
The source code of the leaked PS5 exclusive paved the way for u/Clean-Market5761 to create their own PC port. pcmasterrace from r/pcmasterrace/comments/1wy0gwr/marvels_wolverine_pc_native_port_experiment It is currently a buggy mess; textures are missing, and Wolverine’s whole head is missing from multiple screenshots.
Ironically, there is another screenshot where only Wolverine’s head is present, with no body in sight. The developer claims that neither KytyPS5 nor AnyPS5 were used, like in a recent story of Wolverine on KytyPS5 .
