iPhone Duo buyers to get a special surprise at U.S. Apple Stores, Gurman says

What happened

Employees will be able to customize the Duo so it displays the name of the buyer at the "Hello" screen when it turns on for the first time. Fun little touch for the iPhone Duo launch: Apple retail stores will have a system to customize the boot of the device with the buyer's name so it says "Hello, Mark" (for example) when it turns on for the first time. Apple is a software and consumer electronics company based in Cupertino.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, iPhone Duo buyers who purchase their device at an Apple Store in the US will be treated to a nice little surprise when they turn it on for the first time. Apple has something special planned for customers who purchase an iPhone Duo in an Apple Store .
