What happened

The partnership was first announced on May 21, 2025. The post Navitas teams up with Nvidia to rewire power delivery for AI data centers (a building full of computers that runs online services) appeared first on Crypto Briefing . NVIDIA is a semiconductor company based in Santa Clara, and its products and services include graphics processing units.

12, 2026 AI models get the headlines. The electricity that feeds them gets a footnote.

Navitas Semiconductor (Nasdaq: NVTS) wants to make that footnote a lot more efficient. The company is collaborating with Nvidia on power semiconductor solutions built for next-generation 800 VDC architectures, aimed squarely at AI data centers and GPU (a chip built for many calculations at once, used for graphics and AI) racks.

What Navitas is actually building The collaboration leans on two Navitas product lines. GaNFast operates with gallium nitride (GaN), and GeneSiC uses silicon carbide (SiC).

The headline product is a direct 800 V-to-6 V DC-DC conversion board. Conventional setups running on 48 V and 50 V systems traditionally need intermediate conversion stages. The Navitas board is designed to skip those layovers entirely.
