What happened

Huawei has officially launched the MatePad Pro 12 (2026) in Germany. Fawad Murtaza , Published 10/13/2026 Tablet Chinese Tech Launch Back in August, Huawei introduced the MatePad Pro 12 (2026) in China. Huawei is a telecommunications and electronics company based in Shenzhen, and its products and services include tablet computers.

Huawei has now launched the MatePad Pro 12 (2026) in Germany. Armed with a 12-inch OLED display, Huawei's in-house Kirin T93 SoC (a whole computer’s parts built onto a single chip), and a 50 MP main camera, the MatePad Pro 12 (2026) aims to be a tool for both work and play.

The tablet features an expansive 12-inch OLED panel, which Huawei categorizes as “PaperMatte”, denoting a non-glare coating that enhances outdoor visibility and the display feel. The Huawei MatePad Pro 12 (2026) measures 264.2 x 172.9 x 4.7 mm and weighs just 454 g.

This means that the tablet is both lighter and thinner than the 2025 MatePad Pro 12. However, despite being impressively thin, Huawei claims a 13.7-hour video playback time.

When the tablet runs out of juice, the battery can be charged at up to 66 W. Huawei also explains that you can deliver reverse charging to a phone through a USB-C (24-pin reversible connector that supersedes all previous USB connectors) cable at up to 40 W.
