What happened

In those PerfOpt benchmarks (a standard test used to compare systems) on current-gen AMD Ryzen AI APUs/SoCs (a whole computer’s parts built onto a single chip) the AI performance improved as much as 18~23%. Several Phoronix readers expressed interest in seeing how prior-gen AMD Ryzen hardware benefited or not from PerfOpt, so here are some additional benchmarks. AMD is an electrical and semiconductor company based in Sunnyvale, founded in 1969, and its products and services include computer hardware.
