Complaion raises €13.5M to simplify compliance for European SMEs

What happened

Complaion , an Italian company helping SMEs manage certifications and regulatory compliance, has raised €13.5 million in funding to expand its team, develop its technology and support its international growth. The round was led by Eurazeo and Italian Founders Fund , with participation from Shapers, 2100 Ventures, Kfund, Sella Direct Ventures and Enzo Ventures.

Vento, Ithaca, Eden Ventures and Vesper also participated. Complaion says its platform can automate up to 80 per cent of manual activities involved in compliance processes and has helped reduce certification times by up to five times.

Its customers operate across sectors including manufacturing, healthcare, construction, logistics, professional services, agri-food, IT and software. Complaion also provides support for businesses with European regulatory requirements, including the NIS2 Directive and the AI Act.
